What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is anytime after 1:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are strongly recommended, particularly in summer and on festival weekends. Riverfront sites are the first to go. Reserve online any time, or call and we’ll help you pick a site.
What amenities are available?
Full hookups — water, sewer, electric and Wi-Fi — at every short-term site, plus a fire ring and picnic table. The park has a bathhouse with hot showers, laundry, a covered pavilion, a playground, a walking trail and river access with a small beach area.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Riverbreeze is pet friendly and we welcome leashed dogs throughout the park. Please clean up after your pets and don’t leave them unattended at your site.
What types of sites do you have?
Riverfront, non-riverfront, non-riverfront premium, pull-through and buddy/double sites for two RVs, plus tent sites. We accommodate RVs of any size, and monthly sites are available for extended stays.
Is the campground safe?
Guest safety is a priority. The grounds are regularly patrolled by county police, and staff are on site and available if anything comes up.
Can I bring a golf cart?
Yes — golf carts and bikes are welcome on the property, and the walking trail is wide enough for both.
How far are you from Asheville, Charlotte and Atlanta?
About 36 miles to Asheville (roughly 40 minutes), 90 miles to Charlotte, and around 200 miles to Atlanta. We’re a short run from I-40.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes. Mention it when you book and we’ll apply it.
Do you have monthly or long-term sites?
We do. Monthly sites include water, sewer, electric, Wi-Fi and dumpster access. Availability is limited, so call to check before you travel.
Do you offer RV and boat storage?
Yes, in a separate gated and fully enclosed facility at the same address. Long-term discounts are available — see our storage page.
